Double Bass Full Circle, Hot side up or down

Hi, for those of you that have a Full Circle PU.
I bought one from Gollihur with the bridge included.
The bridge is made to have the hot side of the pick up down in the feet (threads up). So I installed it that way, it sounds very full and never thin in all the registers. I had the revolution solo 2 and it sounded too much thin in the upper register and too much boomy in the lower. You could hear a lot of the string.

The insrtuction manual says that if you put the hot side down you'll have a more acoustic suond with less attack and edge. Vice versa you'll get more "string sound"

Have you ever tried the differences? are they just slight? what's your configuration?
