Full stack rig versus a Tech21 plugged into a JBL EON

After a number of years of hauling 200 pounds of equipment consisting of a GK800RB, an Ampeg 1X15, and a GK 4X10, I decided to take a new tack by connecting a Tech21 SansAmp 3-Channel Bass Driver DI into a JBL EON15 G2 Powered PA Speaker. I use the powered PA speaker standing right behind me like a regular bass amp for my stage sound and I run a mic cable from the Tech21 to the board just like I used to do with the GK800RB direct out.

So far I've used it at 3 gigs and I love it! The sound is phenomenal and the weight is now under 50 pounds. The only trouble I'm having is convincing my band mates that this set-up with the 300/100 watt JBL EON15 G2 gives me the same or better power and frequency response as my GK800RB 300/100 watt head.

Do you know of any problems I may run into using this rig instead of the more conventional bass amp head and speaker cabinet set-up?
