Has anyone used these on bass?

I had a friend's Fulldrive 3 once on guitar, but it seemed very dark for guitar.... wondering how it fairs on bass. Especially given that the boost can be pre or post, it checks a lot of boxes on paper. (no clue if this one can be easily modified to be a bassdrive)

I've used a Fat-Boost v.1 with great success, but I've yet to try version 3. Anyone?

I’ve always felt the Fulldrive 3 is a bit misunderstood. It’s commonly described as dark but mine has always been able to get pretty bright. Admittedly most of the brightness comes out in the last 20-25% of the dial but it’s there.

I haven’t tried it on bass but i think the fatboost would come across a bit boomy. The boost on FD3 is killer and has a flatter response.
