Fun fast Maxon, KORG, nuX, BOSS pedal chain

So, I love 80s pedals, especially Japanese made ones. Been throwing some things together and this one is pretty fun. If you can get your hands on this line of KORG pedals, the DISTORTION and OCTAVE ones are awesome. Definitely more frequency geared towards guitar but with the MAXON BASS EQ the distortion is tasty, fuzzy, and I kinda love it. This older NUX CO2 COMPRESSOR PEDAL is pretty sweet too, got it on the cheap. Pretty solid. And of course the BOSS AW-3 is just wonderful.

I will try to upload some samples tomorrow. In the meantime, this is what it looks like.

The nuX . It’s pretty solid. The SUSTAIN definitely ups the noise a bit, but if you have a noise suppressor/gate it would be fine. It’s also not “bad” noise if that makes sense. As far as compression goes it’s really smooth. Doesn’t do that digital strangle hold some pedals do. If you can get it under $50 it’s totally worth it. Also has a great retro vibe/look to it if you dig that. Should have a video up tomorrow sometime.
