Funky books...

yeah, i know the funk is not really learned b y reading a book, but there are some cool funky books out there that have lots of great riffs and workouts...

which are recommended? like i said, there are soooooo many...which are the tried and true books that will help inject some funkiness into the hands and brain?

Since Funk is based on a lot of rhythmic syncopations, the accurate execution of them is essential and this is why I just wrote a book on that subject with tons of riffs and tracks to improve the inner clock, reading, vocabulary. Check it out, it is available on bassbooks.com and is called GROOVE 101.

that book looks awesome...any other ones recommended? I know about Slap It, but I'm looking for more fun to funky finger funk soulful stuff...not so much acrobatics but some really great funky feeling lines...recommend, please...
