Years ago, I was writing my Practical Studies and had the manuscript pretty well finished. I had a 13/14 year old student on the same level so I decided to use a page or two in manu. for each lesson. I explained what it was and what it would become. Off we went.
Along about the tenth lesson (I thought they were going very well) the student suddenly stopped playing and said, "When am I going to get a real book!". ..... Oh, well.....
