Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

I almost hope it just shows up. I've had so much stuff shipped to me and from me recently, that I'm over the Fedex/UPS/USPS tracking. It seems like most of the time the tracking updates just enough to be really irritating. I had a bass sit on a Fedex truck over the weekend, even though the tracking showed it was at the sorting facility that's probably 20 minutes from my house...:eyebrow::rage::banghead:

As long as I know it's on it's way, I'll be happy...:hyper::hyper::thumbsup:

Update!

Gabor replied to my email and sent me tracking info. The carrier used is TNT.

It left on 12/30 from Budapest and arrived at JFK at 3:25 am today, and it states it cleared customs too!

I reside in NY so I imagine I should see this extremely soon! Wow!

As for any additional custom charges, nothing was indicated in the tracking info, so we shall see. I'll keep everyone updated as to my findings.

If you have not received tracking for the US, perhaps send an email to Gabor.

Happy to say, we have shipped out the vast majority of the packages, only six left which belong to some friends who did not provide me phone number. All of you will get them very soon I hope. Hong Kong packages will be slightly slower - TNT could not accept them because the city has no post code :)) strange, weird but true. They were sent by the Hungarian Post.

Released by customs means it has gone through and is now in the hands of the carrier who will deliver it. i.e., it arrived in the US, got cleared, and is now in the hands of the carrier like any normal domestic package.

That's what I would have assumed, but it was like 2 hours between shipment received and released! After hearing the stories you guys tell about customs taking things on an extended vacation it's surprising in a good way...

It's so much fun :) Some great Moog sounds, some great, weird sci-fi sounds and a whole lot more. Amazing tracking all the way down to low E (haven't tried it on my MV5 yet). It has all my favourite supersynth sounds and then some. Tomorrow I'll fit it onto my big board and then play it alongside the Mobius and H9 - can't wait to try it with chorus and tremolo. I can't edit anything yet (Mac user) but it's already very tweakable just using the pedal controls. Love it. Worth every penny (or cent). :D:hyper::bassist:

As I stated before the first message indicated it was cleared by customs. Now I just saw a message stating it is in TNT's possession.

I just called TNT at JFK to get more info, and they transferred me to a specialist. Unfortunately got their voicemail and I left a VM. Waiting on a call back.

ya, when i dealt with TNT two years ago, a specialist was who i spoke too. FWIW, the package i got back then was never transferred to USPS, FEDEX, or UPS. not sure if its because I'm near a major city and they have a TNT located near Boston, but for final delivery, it was handled solely by TNT.
