Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

@Andras Szalay, I just received my pedal and it's great, thanks very much for your hard work on this.

I would like to request a feature for the next version of firmware - can we have a MIDI CC to toggle bypass / engage on the pedal? The type of logic isn't important, though < 64 bypass, >64 engage is more common. That addition will make integrating the FI into a larger MIDI system a lot easier.

Thanks!

I did not think about that, but it is logical. I see quite many of you have the same request. Technically it is absolutely possible, the relay is not controlled by the pedal directly, it is controlled by the processor. Will be part of the next update.

She's here!! I'm in San Francisco. Actually not sure which carrier delivered the package since I had it sent to work and a receptionist grabbed it for me, but no issues or custom fees for me either.

Not looking forward to the wait before I get to try it out tonight.

Hey gents. I would appreciate some feedback here because I'm freaking out right now.

I just got home and opened up my FI. I do not have time to try it until later this evening but I noticed something different than the original DI.

The middle potentiometer on the original DI for changing the parameters had detents when you turned it, like a switch. My FI does not. It is like a standard volume pot.

Perhaps I'm overreacting and mistaken but IIRC the original middle rotary was a switch like the edit pot.

Can someone please confirm if their middle pot on the FI has detents or is like a volume pot? Thanks.

chill!! this is supposed to be like this. the display will show you by going dark between settings, so it is easy to see when you get to the next parameter even if you don't look at the writing.

Grrr....stupid delivery people! "Resident not home" Right. You mean like my wife that was there all day? Pfft. First world problems as they say.

Oh well, watched the 99 presets video. Nice! Can't wait to get mine!

You can't blame the delivery guy, there is no "I was too lazy to get out of my truck" choice in the system they use.
