Hey gents. I would appreciate some feedback here because I'm freaking out right now....The middle potentiometer on the original DI for changing the parameters had detents when you turned it, like a switch. My FI does not. It is like a standard volume pot.

I immediately noticed this as well, it's somewhat annoying. The third digit on my screen also sometimes jumps around like the Edit encoder is bumping between the next higher value on it's own or something, but I haven't figured out the root cause or how to manually reproduce it. No biggie, but visually distracting when you're editing on the pedal.

Also, the FI doesn't have any way to edit the voice (Preset/Program) like the DI did. Combine that with the fact there's a zillion deep editing parameters, it looks like the software editor will be a huge benefit. Always a challenge to provide options but keep the hardware UI simple.

All minor initial observations.

Onto the fun! :)

I noticed that as well, but it's no biggie to me. You just have to line it up and you're good to go!

I think this pedal will take quite some time to fully learn. LOL. I played with it for about 30 minutes and was blown away and dumb struck a bit. haha. It's because I didn't read the manual or anything. I mean, who does that? Am I right? :)

I will say the tracking is great on most settings! There's a few it lags a bit, but that's normal and expected. So I wasn't disappointed at all. I was actually thrilled at how freaking well it performs.

Overall at this point, I'm going to say this sucker is an absolute winner.

I can't wait to try out the editor and figure out this stuff! Would be absolutely killer if it worked with an IOS device or Android, but I don't think that's possible, which is fine.

One thing I will say is I wish there was expression control. That was my biggest gripe with the Markbass Super Synth.

Mine arrived today. It has some amazing sounds, but will have to spend some time figuring out all it can do.

I'm looking forward to stealing some settings from those here that know what they're doing a whole lot more than I do!

I've been told a package has arrived for me today from Hungary. I wonder what that can be?! :D Unfortunately, I won't be able to get it until this weekend.

My question is:

How do I velcro it to my board without ruining Andras' signature?

My plan was to find a screw driver that fits the screws on the back plate and flip it upside down so the signature and serial number were safely stored inside the pedal while the velcro was on outside, not covering anything. YMMV

I velcroed around it--two long vertical strips on either side and some horizontal strips under the signature and under the Panda Audio sticker.

Full board shot coming soon!

Yeah, I put a small strip in each corner. I'll see how that works. Thanks!

Now I get to spend one of my days off reconfiguring my board...yay.

I thought about doing that, too. If it works, lemme know!
