Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

My plan was to find a screw driver that fits the screws on the back plate and flip it upside down so the signature and serial number were safely stored inside the pedal while the velcro was on outside, not covering anything. YMMV

It does work, although you need the correct Torx / star driver to remove the screws.

Mine arrived late, after 9pm, last night. I am just now really getting into it. Tracking is better than anything I have tried. Sure some of the sounds will require that I learn how to play with them, but all in all she is a bad beast.

As for glitchy... I think it glitches in the best possible way for my style. I find many of the glitches musical and inspiring. I'm already working on a few groves to highlight a little glitch ;)

Really awesome pedal.

i think, so there should not be any differences here. keep in mind that all of the d.i. presets have a fair amount of clean blended in and hence tracking "seems" better. so you would have to compare the first 9 sounds to a d.i. :)
Correct. The (very few) DI sounds were designed with that point in mind, by the FI sound design we did not really take care for this. Many of the demo sounds were designed with keyboard, not with bass at all. If you want a sound with absolutely perfect, glitch-free tracking, then use the technique described on page 7, how to use AR.DIST. I can make some more sounds with this in mind, if you want.

i will do some sounds as well with this. maybe even change some of mine and make a "glitch free" version...

Maybe I missed it in the manuals but do we have CC numbers for all of the parameters? I only see them listed for mod, vol, and freq cutoff. I plan on writing an editor having the numbers would be helpful in wiring up all my controls.
no there are not cc controls for all the parameters. everything is controlled by nrpn messages, basically 3 cc values at once. I can send you the file with all the midi-nrpn numbers....

Page 7? Is there a complete manual out there?

I'd love that too. You already have my e-mail.
