The FI’s filters already have a pitch tracking setting. Have you used the editor?

-In regards to #2, can you guys consider the detented potentiometer for the parameter knob this time? I think it would really benefit the overall user experience to have one.

-I hope #4 allows for this. All the parameters can be adjusted with the Edit Knob, however, the Data Dial Number only goes from 1 to 9 (9 steps). Could it be possible to add one more step so it goes from 0 to 9 (10 steps) so you can have a little more control over the parameters?

-Also if stereo capability is achieved, it would be great to be able to manually bypass the pitch detection, so you can use the synth independently (with MIDI sequencing for example) and have them both (synth and clean bass) coming out of the FI instead of having to split the signal prior to the FI’s input. Something like the Spilt Mode without muting the clean bass signal.

-This is a MUST! Some presets would really benefit from having a different note-on note-off level. I think I've suggested this one a long time ago, so I'm really glad you are suggesting it as well!

I actually came up with an interface implementation ages ago that would allow full 0-127 value access to the top-level parameters. Code space and rewrite work time hampered that. I’m hoping it can be done in the future if there’s ever a revision that users a processor with more memory.

That sounds way better, I suppose you wanted to use the 3 numbers on the LED to show the values from 0 to 127? Balance and many other parameters would be more useful.

Nice. I didn’t discover the pedal until later. Actually, when I first tried it, I didn’t take to it. Wasn’t until December 2018 that I bought one and the rest, as they say, is history.

To have a detent potentiometer with 11 detents was always what we wanted, but never could get. Most manufacturers build 11 position detent potentiometers only on special request, which requires an MOQ (minimum order quantity) that we could never fulfill. Good news: I got a sample in my hands in the last days, looks perfect, has 11 solid detent positions, and we do not have to buy a quantity that we could not afford. All three potentiometers will be very solid, metal shaft ones!

To extend the edit scale from 1...5...9 to 0...5...9 would not mean significant difference, and it would make the adjustment range asymmetric, with 5 steps in negative direction and 4 steps positive; not nice.

I have a new cover band project going and the Future Impact is a big part of the tunes we're doing. So much good stuff.

I thought, hey I should look and see if anyone is sharing presets. So I found Future Impact Program Database – Share your FI Programs around the World! and must have registered years ago when I bought the FI. Anyway, It looks as though my IP has been blocked now that I've reset my password. The site just says to contact the site admin. Of which there is none to be found listed anywhere on the site.

Anyone have an email for that site so I can free up my IP so I can sign in and try some of those sweet presets???

I'm kind of new to the FI, but coming off of what I've read above (IIUC) I'd say that if the internal digi-VCF is not pitch tracked, it's because of the FI's unique note triggering system. In other words, if upon note input event, the FI first immediately starts a note on with its envelopes and using the previous pitch, then switches to the correct pitch an instant later when it resolves the new pitch (or more than an instant for lower notes), this strategy depends on the initial pitch glitch being nearly not bothersome because it is too short to be noticed, and because it is partially obscured by the actions of the VCFs and VCAs. If, however, the filter cutoff also suddenly jumped a bit after note on along with the pitch, that would make the glitch more perceivable/bothersome. Especially of there's resonance on the filter.
