I also want to join in the chorus of "Thank You's" and "Amazing Job" to @Andras Szalay, @Gabor_Gerenyi, and @lokki! You guys pulled off something that almost no one else could have, save Doug Castro from Darkglass, who pulled off almost the same thing! You guys tossed out an idea to a relevant community, got some feedback, took that feedback and ran with it, and came up with a product that is so awesome and unique that grown men are considering selling Mary Kay products or trying to fit into leather G-strings and "dancing" to come up with funds to buy this thing! You did it in a little over a year, AND you actually got it done BEFORE you said you would! Truly amazing! Even in this era of crazy technology, this is an incredible feat. I hope that you get the recognition that you deserve(hell, I hope you get rich off this thing!).

I didn't know anything about this pedal until this morning when a friend sent me the FI website... Synth isn't something I use abundantly in my current gigs, but when I do, it's KEY. And the FI looks like it'll do what I need better than the current pedal combo I've got on my board at the moment.

The Future Impact brought me out of Talkbass "retirement" (haven't been on the forum since last October), and I've taken a leap of faith and ordered. Crossing my fingers on the VAT refund. @Andras Szalay @Gabor_Gerenyi and @lokki... seems like you guys are pretty put together though, so I'll take the chance.

Yeah, I feel bad about dumping on the Stingray club, but I got pretty fed up with the "my opinion is right, yours is wrong" attitude that seemed so prevalent (in other threads, not the Stingray club) and just stopped showing up to Talkbass because of it. TB became a huge chore rather than an enjoyable forum for bass gear for me. And the longer I didn't come back, the more I didn't feel a need to come back. *shrug* You pretty much won't see me here after this either, I don't even follow the classified threads anymore. I'll probably follow this thread for information about the FI, but meh... that'll probably be it.

I take that back, I'll post some photos of my new Stambaugh for the cats in the Stambaugh club, but then I'll be a ghost again.

To keep the thread on topic... Yep, glad to see this in time to get an order in. I'd never really paid much attention to the Deep Impact because they always seemed pretty rare and when I did see them, pretty expensive. In Gabor's FI 60s Bank soundcloud demo, the patch at :13 seconds in is what clinched the order. One of the bands I play for plays the Axel Foley theme, and that pretty much nails the sound.

Hope to see that VAT refund come through.

Seriously though, people did that a few pages back it looks like the people who have confirmed in this thread puts things in the 30s. So add the people who didn't announce, plus any other sources, I would imagine that the run of 100 is well over half gone.

If you're going to pick times to pop in to TB I highly approve of those being used to get Future Impact info and to post new Stambaughs.
