Future Impact v3 problems

Hey I'm hoping somebody can help me as Panda support from Hungary is, well, problematic.

So here's what happened:
1) pedal working great for weeks.
2) downloaded editor and updated firmware. I wanted to rearrange patch order so all the ones I use are in 1-20.
3) I hooked up medal to my mac using MIDI cables, downloaded patches from FI to editor, rearranged to where I wanted them, and then uploaded to FI.
4) The patches that do work sound terrible and incorrect, and everything above 20 just sounds like normal bass
5) I reinstalled firmware with factory preset sounds and nothing changed, still not working.

Any ideas? ugh it's so frustrating I have a big show and need this to work.

Sounds to me like you recently upgraded your firmware to v3.60 from something pre-v3 and didn’t overwrite the old v2 patches with the factory v3 sound set straight after installing the firmware.

Carry out the online firmware update again. After the firmware has installed successfully, when it asks if you want to install the v3.50 factory sound set, click yes and follow all the instructions.

Once the v3.50 sound set has been written, you can then put whatever patches you like on there.

Writing the v3 patches in boot mode after updating from pre-v3 is essential in order to flush out any v2 patch data. These old data are incompatible with the v3 ones.

Should work just fine after that. Let me know.
