Fuzziest sounding amp

Was that into the horn cab? The nature of the horn will filter out a lot of dirt.

Yes. The power amp is in the bottom of the cabinet, and the head is a preamp only. The fuzz circuit is in the preamp. The cabinet is a folded horn with a single 18. It sounds great to me, but the fuzz circuit is either not particularly dirty or gets filtered as you mention. Or maybe both. It's there and has a good sound, but I doubt it's the fuzz anybody is thinking of in this thread. The 370 head which came a little later has a bright switch which can create a fairly hard, aggressive sound with the right bass and strings through the right cabinet, but it isn't a fuzzy sound, nor does it have anything like the fuzz circuit like a 360. I'm not sure what would happen if you ran a fuzz pedal through a 361. The folded horn might filter it out. I run the 370 through a 408 cabinet, which isn't a folded horn, so I suppose a fuzz pedal might work with that setup, but I haven't tried it.
