Actually the gate mod which is basically on the whole time as it is more to get my sound tight for the heavily distorted bass sections in my band songs. It is awesome how my setup is now thanks to Ry.

I just want to note that any of my fellow Broke Dicks out there who don't own an OSD, DD and BDPG together have got to get on it. My new combo pedal is the most versatile tool my bass has ever met. Having all three at my disposal leaves me open to keeping each at a low to medium gain setting, providing me with three different and very unique light overdrives. When it's time to get down, all I have to do is flip two or more on at once. They drive each other (and the Rusty Box on the opposite end of my chain) perfectly, into equally-distinct, roaring high-gain tones that are IMO fuller and more organic sounding than what each pedal is capable of on it's own with the drive cranked up. Don't even get me started on what they do to my other pedals...
Okay, get me started. The Dark Driving which I keep on all the time, and my Grey Stache are BFFs. The GS intensifies and takes on the break-up of of the DD. Flip on the BDPG and it will add a nice deep bottom and almost gated quality to both the Stache and my Rat King. When I turn all five on at the same time, much to my surprise, it does not sound like Hell has been unleashed on Earth. The sonic tsunami that ensues is massive and ballsy, but far more restrained and less brash than I expected, aside from the large amount of feedback that accompanies.
I can't wait to see how it does in a band setting next Monday.

Thoughts on this board as the PT-3 couldn't fit all my pedals but now contains double the lighting underneath.

I'll post a picture when I'm home from work..it's really nothing fancy and can probably use a re build, but I haven't been able to do much with my wrist all casted up.
Finally had a chance to give the BDPG a workout at bar-band rehearsal last night. I have to say that it's a much different circuit than I expected! I was assuming that I would just hve a bit of Submarine style enhancing with added functionality, but the BDPG is so much more than that!
To my ears, the majority of the tone sweep provides a bass boost that is just perfect for firming up the low end. I was having trouble getting the low end cushion I prefer from my Aguilar AG500sc/GS212 rig, but that was solved by the BDPG. The effect is tuned just right and every note on the e and a strings sounded huge and three dimensional.
To my ears, the BDPG provides a tube style compression to the higher strings, which kind of drowned them out as opposed to making the notes jump out as it did to the lower notes. On the other hand, it made the bass gel and blend into the mix. So, for my applications, I would probably disengage the effect should I need to take a solo (rarely).
One question I have is about the gain range - I need to crank either the pre-gain or the volume (left and middle knobs) to get close to unity gain. Is this normal for the circuit? For example, my cleaner setting has the pre-gain at 9 or 10 o'clock, but the vol. has to be around 3 o'clock, which seems fairly cranked to me to be at unity. With both knobs at noon I was far below unity which seems unusual so I'm wondering if I maybe have a component out of speck.
Now, my caveat is that I haven't played the BDPG with my fEARful rig, which is much more accurate and revealing than my Aggie rig, so I expect to have to revise much of my opinion once I do so. I'm guessing that I'll have to use subtler settings on the BDPG in regards to the bass boost since the fEARful has so much more low end, but perhaps the compressing of the high strings will not be so prominent.
Overall, the BDPG is a perfect always on effect for a troublesome rig. It took my Aggie gear from, "meh" to "whoah!

Pickles - I'm in the process of updating the manual online. The pregain has to sit above 11:00/12:00 for the pedal to hit unity via the volume knob. Nature of the beast.
Good to know! I'm going to take the Rat Tail for a spin at the next rehearsal and stack it with the BDPG. And while I have your ear (and eye), which of the toggle positions on the RT would be ideal for bass? Haven't had much time to play with it...

Yeah! I used it to record a section. It sounded nasty.
Live I only use the no diode setting. The guitar player in my band tried it and liked the LED clipping. I told him to buy one. Defiantly.
