I stand corrected! I wrote it thinking about another post you made. I had to find it to put it in context.

that MommyStah just makes me want to build a fort in the Fuzzrocious backyard and watch Shannon paint forever.

Sorry Behndy. ;)

I joined the Fuzzrocious game way too late! After looking at all of the old Fuzzrocious pedals, I am very curious to hear sound clips of the following pedals:
TS El Oso
Wow Wow!
The Walking Delay
The Overdose (this is just a boost, right)?

I've also never heard clips of the Mail Order Muff either. I'd like to know what made Ron leave the AGRO for this!

Can anyone provide a few for me? I'm looking at you, Ryan!

alright! good news, bad news time!

good news: Rat Tail arrived safely, it looks great, it sounds great! and yes, there are a thousand and five killer sounds in there!

bad news: i dunno if it's got the sound i want for what i'm doing these days. I almost wanna go join a metal band again to justify owning this pedal! it rocks, hard, and most of my current gigs do not. :(

i've thrown it on the board, replacing my 1st gen. GeminiDrive (thank goodness that thing's gone! mid-hump city!)
I'll keep it on the board for a month, trying to work it into all my gigs. If it fits, i keep it. if not, it's up on the block and i start the search anew.
Ryan, no matter what, you're a beautiful man and i love your products. (and i'd be interested in the new OD if it didn't have the mid-hump (I already run hot mids. i don't need anymore, honest))

for funsies, the RT setting i'm digging most (and hoping kills in the band mix) is:
V: at unity
F: 12
D: 12
1&2 at 10 o'clock,
LED clipping.

Yeah, some people love the RT and for others it's not their bag.
For the new od/boost, you'll have the option to have a mid hump or mid scoop tone stack, so it might be more your bag!

Out of curiosity, what ARE you playing if not always rocking "hard"? We may be able to make some suggestions :)

I'm making my living playing country and pop/singer-songwriter stuff.
honestly, the best way to describe what i'm looking for is a second channel for my amp. Same sound, just more drive.
And i've said it before, i'll say it again: i DO NOT need a mid-hump. My dry sound is already mids heavy so i'm present in all circumstances. I need something with flat mids, but apparently it needs to be less aggressive than the RT. :/

it might be TOO much of a boost for you, but the Rusty Box has two channels. and the second is a bit grimier.

would you want to go to a DI type setup? there's stuff like the ToneBone (kinda hated it's design and it's overall way quieter than a lot of DI's) and the VT Deluxe that'll give you two or more channels/save spots that you can eq differently or put more gain on.
