Looks like I'll have to make up the difference by purchasing one from you

Lars_Vegas said:By the way, I like the versatility in it for being a three-knob-pedal with an additional switch. My brother (who is my guitarplayer) just does not want to try it, since he is scared of also wanting some fuzzrocious stuff... ;-)
Lars_Vegas said:I just mean the toggle-switch on it. I do not know what it exatly does but I find that with the switch toggled left it is more suiting for my jazz bass while it is better for my p-bass on the right. I havent used it with my Traben yet, but I grew out of that bass anyway.... I also love feeding or blending my bbm with it via my ls-2. I yet have to trie it with my wooly mammoth clone... Another thought is that it is by far the most usable drive-pedal I haved owned, since it is easy to get a sound that is not too different from my cleansignal tonewise. You know what I mean? But it is also easy to kill some of your lowend with it, if you use too much gain and the wrong toggle setting. Driving my preamp tubes is also nice!
The next thing is pure math:
price of the original OCD here in Germany 169 euros.
Oh see Demon with customes, taxes and shipping 155 euros.
I always get compliments for it. especially for the paintjob (sharing the rehearsal room with a black metal-band ;-))
I regret nothing, though it was a plunge....
alternatives like the EBS multi/metaldrive have sounded good in the store but in a real bandsetting they tend to get burried.
I am going to do some clips as soon as my Zoom H2 is back from my other guitarist!
Ohhhhhhh I got you now!
Most owners have noticed the same thing you do about your natural sound of your bass not being altered by the pedal! Cool!
#64- Grrface - RT
ah snap! we're doing numbers too?
well crap, i should get me one!
I used the Rat Tail at the gig tonight, and it was a totally different beast! Worked great for the tunes i used it, added some snarl and snap when i used a pick, it was nice.
However, i'm still gonna order the Od/Boost that's coming.
number, por favor?
Lars_Vegas said:But what does the toggle-switch actually do?
I once read that it was a high-pass filter and another time that it changes the gain-range of the knob.
goggle-eyes shot be an option!!

Absolutely! Glad to hear the RT worked out well for you. I've learned you can only judge Ry's stuff in the mix. Playing my Grey Stache in the mix absolutely kills. It freak'n dims the sun it's so intense.
It's a high and low pass filter. In short, it really just removes resistance making the signal softer.
Hey Ry, do you have a bane die the new pedal?
Ha! One handed typing on IPhone with baby on harness and coffee on the other hand. My thumb is too big!
I meant "do you have a name yet"
....my misspelling reminds me of the movie Pootie Tang. Did you ever see that?
