Haha my moustache is pretty much the same as the pedal...but not a distinguished grey; It's simply brown so the pedal is already half accurate.

here's a question that I don't think I've seen:

What's the reason for the toggle on the side as opposed to the top of the enclosure? Make it less likely to be switched on accident? Ease of construction? Less rat bite accidents?

Ease of construction. Everything is totally crammed inside. No room to top-mount the toggle. An option might be for people to forego the toggle and just pick one type of clipping.
