That next Box of Awesome should have footswitches on them that do nothing, but look cool haha.

No cookies, but I put a kitten into every enclosure before I seal it up. Cat urine does wonders for analog circuitry.

Some folks wanted that left footswitch to be a tone bypass instead of an oscillation switch. Both are useful options for completely different things. :)

I've got two on the bench right now to be built - both momentary oscillation. I'd be curious to know what the actual breakdown is.

It's hard to believe run #2 is going so quickly. Well, I guess not really that hard to believe because it's a sweet pedal.

The tone bypass mod is super simple. Lug 1 on the mids knob (R18) ties into the lifted ground leg of the C11 tone cap on the middle lug of the footswitch. The far right lug on the footswitch goes to ground. When the switch is open, mids and C11 are grounded. When you close the switch (depress it), they are removed from ground, thus bypassing the tone stack.

With the mids knob dimed, there's not much of a boost. As the mids knob is rolled back, the tone bypass is more apparent and louder.

Run #2 has gone WAY faster since I didn't have three pedals in limbo on the bench. Almost every pedal works right this time when I fire them up (thank God).

Hope we finish up these and the RAT TAILs before baby numero dos gets here!!!
