G.A.S is ridiculous

I have three P basses and two of them are Fender American Pro. The third is a Univox.

The Pro's I have the Olympic white and the antique olive.

Can someone please explain to me why I feel the want to get a Candy Apple Red Pro when I already have a couple and they sound and play so well. Am I really chasing a color?

Help me TB-wan. You are my only hope
Do you have Italian ancestry? If yes, I sense you are subconsciously trying to recreate the colours of your forefather's national flag. Red, Green, white... Just a theory.

When you find the model you like, then you NEED it in ALL colors; EVERYBODY knows that!
An old pic of a 19 year-old me and my Univox!

Is that Univox a Mosrite copy? I remember a Dan Armstrong Univox copy (can't recall if it was a bass)! I bought a Univox Super Fuzz in '68 before I got my first amp! That was a Univox 1-15" rig. As far as color goes; I was craving a Blue MIJ Jaguar Deluxe to complement my red one (blue wasn't available when I got it - no regrets, I LOVE that bass!
