That shot is direct from Geoff’s work bench. I’ll try and take some glamour shots that show off the flame and finish when it arrives.
Man I wish mine were that far along. An issue came up and mine had a bit of a setback..
There are several custom things on this bass. Ash body, select flamed maple top, custom color, DCX pickup in the bridge position, pickup blend knob wired in the more traditional orientation.
The rest of the specs are the usual for a custom GGi5. 35” scale, CSX-GG pickup in the neck position, etc.

My ggi5 with my ggi6. This is my third ggi5 and by far the best sounding of the three. I have no idea why it sounds better. My second was built for NAMM and was a beauty but it just did not sound that good to me.

My first one sounded great but the bridge on it did not go low enough to get the action done where it belonged.
I am drooling just waiting! It’s is working out perfectly!
2 of my Modulus do not have the fret dots and I really love that look.
My two ZONs have no dots either, if i go for another Gould custom i'd probably ask no dots, like the clean fretboard look
