The GOOD News:
I used a Guitar Center promotion to buy a G-K MB500 online for $399.

Yay for me!!!

The BAD News:
I keep getting "Out of Stock" emails from GC explaining that although they are currently out of stock, more are on order. And as soon as they receive new stock, my order will ship.

Been over three weeks now.

Are MB500s THAT popular?

I'm in the same boat. Saw one used when I stopped in a store out of state for $400 and was like oh I can get a new one with warranty for the same price if I order one. Famous last words...

If you figure anything out to get them sooner, please let me know. I don't have any other bass amps, so I've been stuck playing guitar lately.

Made some calls and it looks like the tentative date from GK to us having them in stock - roughly 80 of them - is April 6th. Backorders will be filled up first, but then it sounds like there will be about another 50 or 60 that are available.

I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens once April rolls around. If I catch wind of anything before then, I'll let everybody know.

I ordered mine on January 31st and am still waiting. Great deal, too good to pass up, but the backorder date keeps getting pushed back and back and back.... Any info you have, xjeremiahx, would be greatly appreciated. Do you get paid by GC for TB customer service provided? Cause you should!

Strange, I ordered two GK Neo 212-II Cabinets from GC.com in February and received them the following week. My Guitar Center manager had me order it from GC.com as he said they never get them in stock in-store normally .

If it matters, I used the "ship to store" option.

every weekend, we generally have some sort of coupon for a sale. they are talking about one that was $100 off if you spent $499 or more. You can sign up @ Guitars, Musical Instruments, and Musical Equipment from Guitar Center to get the promotions & stuff. should be a little link on the left hand side. Some coupons are alright, but some are pretty awesome.
