G&L 30th Anniversary L-2000 - Do any really exist?!

Ok, I have been making myself mildly nuts (or more nuts) trying to track down a 30th Anniv. L-2000 to add to my arsenal and haven't been able to find one anywhere. ASAT's, Legacys, and F-100's are all no problem but no L-2000.

I'm beggining to think they either never actually made the L-2000 30th or they only made a small handful.

Has anyone seen one of these in the flesh or better yet, know where a mint example is that I could get my hands on? I'm a sucker for the Pearl Frost paint (other than that, it is the same as a standard L-2000).

Got it here....pretty stunning for an instrument in this price range and far more captivating than I expected from what amounts to nothing more than a sexy paint job. That being said, the 2012 Special Collection basses (I have one) are a far better value as for the same money, you get a truly special bass with a plecked neck, special body, etc. Things that actually make it perform better. Too bad they didn't do that with the 30th.

All that aside, I want to nab a second one. Anyone have a lead on another MINT L-2000 30th?

Thanks for the help guys!

It exists! And it's true... White basses have MOJO!

With the single-coil operation and GREAT active / passive tone, this bass does it all. Mine has a P-bass neck too! I'm in love. I, too, am curious about the number made. The instant I saw one in the TB classifieds, with #7 neck, I didn't hesitate. Worth it. Thanks EyeBoy!
