Sadly, we've all heard by now G&L closed forever last month however if anyone is still seeking G&L parts and instruments you can still go through a place called MIRC in TN. here is the email~ ( [email protected].) I was told by them in late january after NAMM show they would sell off the inventory from their purchases from G&L. email them to get on a list so they can contact you back.

I just don't understand this. You heard in January that MIRC was going to be selling off G&L inventory when G&L didn't close their doors until eight or nine months later?? Please explain.

I actually spoke to G&L about month and a half ago..then just a few weeks ago the number went bogus,,,then I found out and contacted MIRC and got an email that after NAMM in late Jan 2026 they said they would start selling off that inventory. they told me they acquired all of G&L's inventory. maybe you didn't read it right.. go read what I said

To be honest, the phrasing was ambiguous, hence the question. Punctuation would help.

"I can anticipate some interesting hybrids / projects down the pike...if the prices are right. How about a fully-loaded body with a Warmoth neck?

Riis"

That could happen. If what we heard about G&L's financial situation was true--that vendors had cut them off due to past due payments, etc.--there might not have been a lot of inventory available. On the other hand, somebody back when this shutdown was happening said they'd heard there was a container with various Tribute models on a ship already enroute to SoCal from Indonesia. There might be some good deals on those if that's true. I guess we'll know soon enough.

I wonder who would be selling those Tributes.

I assume if they didn't just get sent back to Cort, MIRC would get them. We'll have to wait and see if they market them through Franklin Guitar Works (their subsidiary) or maybe on Reverb, or maybe both. I think Franklin Guitar Works has a store on Reverb. All this is conjecture at this point. As far as I know, no public statement has been made about any of this stuff. Has anyone seen a public statement?
