This is a general g&l question: does anyone know the color code for the wires used on mfd bass humbuckers? I searched around and didn't find anything....
You want to know the 'Color Code' for the bass pick up? I didn't even know there was a color code.

I believe he means which wires are which , but, that's just a guess on my part, and I don't know the answer to that.
Does that color/burst/finish have a name? I've never seen one like it, and I really dig it!
P.S. I went to school at Mizzou from 00-04. Too bad I never ran into you there!

How do we convince G&L to make a Tribute model JB? It would be far superiour to the Fender MIM...
I like that Idea too. Maybe G&L is working on that right now. We will be seeing new things from G&L's bass dept. soon anyhow.

Personal choice.
I like mo-phat from a neck pickup, some folks like other things, which is fine.
On my DarkStar'd P bass, poles face the neck.
However, on my DarkStar'd 72 Tele, the pickup is right up against the fingerboard, so I set poles facing the bridge....
On both basses, the route and wire length will let me spin the pup 180 degrees, so I get to try either voicing.
I'd want ''universal routes" in both places on Spiritbasses project, just cause I like to mess with stuff like that.

I will have to bring it along with the ThunderJag. The leads are long enough, but the route would have to be enlarged a bit. When I was talking to Jimmy @ Landing about the conversion, I just asked him to place the pickups where the poles would be in the '60's position and didn't think to ask him to allow for any pickup rotation. Were you wanting to try these at home or live?
