I have been eyeballing an L-1500 for a while now, but the idea of a single-pickup bass without a pickguard never sat right with me. Now that issue has been rectified.

Not sure, but I think we'll be getting the price in the next two weeks.
There's a G&L dealer in Jersey and I'm going to stop by Thursday to see if he knows anything.
Looks and sounds good, though, as expected.

no its not like an L-1000: the pickup is in a different location and will drastically effect the voicing between the two.....it will be more closer to an L-1500 if anything

Yup, the pickup appears to be in the L-1500 position and on an SB body.

lol - yeah, i say that lightly: The Dimension gets mostly glowing reviews by people who have tried them and played them -- whether or not they actually bought them is an entirely different subject
