I am not crazy about the name now that I think about it. SB-1000/1500 seems the logical moniker.

Perhaps better described as a passive version of a Sterling H, which normally has the series/parallel/coil 1 switch?

1500 with a pickguard, cool. I've owned 2 1500's not really my thing, I much prefer the L2k. If you're expecting a Stingray-ish tone you'll be disappointed, a very different Vibe. They were really aggressive, perfect for cutting through a mix.

The problem with G&L basses is that I want to get one of each in every possible finish. So many basses, so little time, and (most of all) such limited funds.
