Have you ever heard of G & L? G & L is a company Leo Fender created after he sold Fender and was the last company he owned before he passed away. (Or so Ive been told) The people who now run G & L Do an amazing job. I just got a bran new G & L Tribute Series bass (Tribute Series is the import line) Its quite nice: active pick-ups, 2-piece body, through body bridge, nice hard ware, has a very nice neck, very thick. Over all I really enjoy this new purchase. Its a Honey Color. I, of course, got a 5 string. I must say that even if its an import line they didnt cut any corners in production. The pick-ups they put in all their guitars are hand made in the USA. Now that Im done with my little speech, I wanted to know who else out there owned a G & L or had any interest in G & Ls. This is more of a discussion post about G & Ls work. I for one, say G & L is a better bass than any newer Fender Ive played. Better than the med/higher end models Ive played at least. So, Thumbs up G & L.
