G7L L2000 Controls

i have bought a G&L L2000 bass guitar and do not know what the copntrols do. i had a look on the G&L sight but could not make head nor tail of it as they were talking about red / black / white toggles. my toggles are all chrome. so i have 3 multiway toggles and three rotary controls. can somwone tell me what each does.thx.ross.

i am looking for a left handed fender precision bass is very good condition. i live in australia, so preferrably from here but will pay freight from other countries if bass is well priced and in mint cond.thx.ross

Yes top Switch closest to neck is a pickup selector Neck/Both/Bridge pickups in that order. second switch is a series / Paralel Switch when it sounds louder and Fatter it is in series. The bottom switch is the active/passive switch All the way towards the neck is passive middle is active position the bottom position is active high frequency boost.

Addition to the switches; the rotary control closest to the neck is the master volume. The other two are the passive treble and bass controls. These are cut-only controls, i.e. the eq is flat when they are wide open and do not provide any boost. Since they're passive, they keep working when the preamp is switched off.

G&L's got an unusual but nice tone circuit. I have a L1500 and can get a surprisingly wide range of tones with a single pickup. L2000's should go even further in tonal range with two pickups.
