How much were they?
$60 last I looked a week or so ago. That's dirt cheap for handmades from a small shop.

How much were they?
2ND UPDATE: it's me, the guy that advocates acoustic practice sessions every so often, ha! anyway, these strings really ring out compared to most i've used over the past. i'm having no trouble hearing each note and it's nice how easy it seems when launching harmonics. very loud.

If you like them than they're worth it. I've paid more for TI jazz rounds. Enjoy them.they were $60.00/set plus shipping
Secretive bastids!
Say what? Interesting, and reassuring. On the website they mention they're against synthetic film coating à la Elixir, and I was wondering how durable the coppers could be (I'd turn uncoated copper strings green in a NY minute).

I really like the old daddario exp reds but didn't like the coating or the high (for me) tension. Maybe I'll give these a shot some day if they're available super light.thanks, Cap! i still favor the feel of TI JR344's over the Coppers, but the sound of these may trump the TI Power Bass set i have on my pbass. gonna swap them later today.
That sounds pretty good to me. I've been hoping somebody would do a real set of copperwounds again. I used to have a set on my Ripper - which loves having a lot of mids and some 'glass' to work with. These sound a lot like how the old set I had came across when I played them. That unusual sound quality they had actually got me some work.
Oh well…there goes some more money. I just ordered a set.
Thanks for all your feedback on these. You sound like your playing style and tonal preferences run very close to mine. (I even suck at slap too!)
