Gallien-Kreuger

Hey guys, I have a new Gallien-Kreuger MB115 combo! :D
It's really awesome and I love the tone but I'm having a little trouble with it.
it seems to hum really loudly and I'm not too sure how to fix it?
My friend said it was to do with the high voltage cables under the house and that I need a new shielded lead. Is this so?

I know this sounds off the wall, but try plugging a pair of headphones into the "aux in" jack. That's what fixed the hum problem on my MB200 head. After discovering this, I made a little shorting plug that fits into the jack.

If this fixes the problem, then you could probably justify asking for warranty service.

I just tried that and got no results. :bawl:
Any ideas?

Does it hum with no guitar pluged in? (Also guitar cord removed)
