Double Bass Gallien-Krueger backline 110 or 112

Has anyone tried one of these for low volume gigs ? I've had a Yorkville 60 watt amp w/10 inch speaker as my small room/back-up amp for many years. It's starting to rattle & may be on it's last legs. The GK 110/112 sure look like a good replacement, probably much better. A direct comparison between the Yorkville & GK would be great, but any thoughts about either of these two GKs would be welcome. The Yorkville is simply a very portable little workhorse. Thanks:)

I guess this is irrelevant but I have a backline 600 and it is horrible... definitely selling soon

I think the cab that you are using has a lot to do with your opinion. Check out FDeck's review of the BL600. He uses it with URB.

As far as the BL110 goes, I have one. It's a good practice amp but it doesn't get very loud. It could probably do very low volume gigs. I keep it mostly for guitarists to use when they come over to play a few tunes.
