Thanks, I just got the Fusion which enables me to slave the 212 off the MB800. (the 410 is 4 ohms) It is Massive with the two cabs and heads!

Yes it does. My main amp is a 400RBIV.

Yeah, that's what I've heard elsewhere, it's why I'm asking here for alternatives.

I just pulled mine out never replaced them. I ended up selling the cab.

I got some off ebay that seem to have held up well enough. I have no idea who from. they were 3" wheels with grey rubber surrounds on long stem casters. try seraching there maybe if you care to.

Sorry...my bad, I didnt know the GK ones were bad as I haven't had a problem with them on my GK cabs. Good to know for future use.

Help!... I just hooked up my Fusion 550 head to my newly acquired neo 412 with a GK 4 pin speakon and when I powered it up it was crackling fairly loud before I was able to even take it off mute. During the crackling I started to smell something was getting hot behind the amp. The cab was set in bi-amp mode.

I immediately shut the amp off and didn't see any smoke, but it still smelled like something was frying or getting ready to. I gave it a out 5 minutes and then hooked up a 2 pin speakon with the cab in full range then powered it up again.

Everything seemed fine as the amp was responding very clean and all 4 woofers seemed to be working and the tweeter was working as I was adjusting the bright switch on the front and also adjusting the tweeter control on the back of the cab.

Any ideas to what just happened?

Better open up both ends of the 4 conductor speakon cable and check for loose connections or strands of wire shorting out adjacent pins in the connectors.

I see nothing loose or disconnected. All wires seemed tight. Rechecked with a screwdriver.
