Gallien Krueger Legacy combo owners

Hey All, would like to hear from people who use the Legacy combos who added an extension cab to it, first what does your combo have in it, speaker wise and what ex cab did you add. I have a 2x10" combo and debating which ex cab (Neo IV) to add to it, 1x15" or 2x10"..Talked to Jason from GK and he told me You can go with either since the power handling are similar and the form factor is the same and there are guys that will tell you there is phase cancellation etc. but I don’t think that’s all that relevant. The 115/210 setup has worked for a long time and has its merits so go with what you like since either will work as well as the other. So what did you add and what do you think ? Thanks Guys

I have the Legacy 112 combo, and have stacked with a Neo IV 112 for bigger gigs with outstanding results. Can’t comment on other driver configs, but presume they will rock as well.

I have the GK Legacy 800 2x12 and I added a GK NEO-IV 2x12 for added fullness. These are outstanding bass rigs and I'd never go back. For me, and using now a 4x12, I get 200 watts evenly through my 4 speakers creating and even sound. Some do go with a 2x12 + 1x15 or 4x10 + 1x15 and the wattage isn't evenly distributed. Same thing with a 4x10 or 8x10, in this case I would go with the Legacy 1200 where you could evenly divide up the wattage into each speaker. I have plenty of "head room" as they say, but what's most impressive is the sound quality, after turning it up it never sounds like it is working hard. It's sounds great at any volume and never sounds like you are pushing it (which has been my experience with other companies). My suggestion (but it's your ears), I would go with the 2x10 extension cab, preferably the NEO-IV.
