Double Bass Gallien Krueger MB150E

Hi there!
Urgently guys, i have the oportunity (but only for few days) of buying the old Gallien Krueger MB150E for only 350 euros! is that worth it or should i just buy the one i wanted to buy, the GK MB115 (the one with digital power amp). Normaly the MB115 is around 333 euros but the new MB150E-112 III is around 750 euros!!!
What do you say, should i go for the old one or the new one?
Thanks a lot!

Last year, Amazon had the GK150 on sale for a short time-bought one. Great amp in the right setting. Eventually bought the GK112 ext. cab which sounds great together.
Have even used a GK150E that was owned by a sound company for large orch/ BB shows going into the house PA with excellent results.
Very sensitive tone controls in such a small cab-just don' t push the amp/ speaker.
Tried the other GK at a Sam Ash Store-good amp as well.
Irregardless, can't go wrong either way for the $
Good luck.

Valloti,
The GK MBE and MBS have proven themselves time and time agian as very practical and decent sounding amps. My personal preference is the MBS because it's mid range voicing sounds sounds better with double bass, but if your using it for both double bass and electric then the MBE would probably be a wise choice, because of it's additional features.

I keep a 150 MBS in my cupboard. Last week I had a 'difficult' room to play and I just wondered.................... So I took it along with an FDeck HPF in the front. It sounded very good and solid. Definitely a keeper.
