GASing for a new bass and I just can't decide

I guess the first thing to decide is if I want a bass for work, or to collect

For work, I've been using 5 string fretless. My Italia Imola is a nice bass but I think I'm ready to upgrade

For collecting - would love another 70s P...with a Dimarzio and a badass...yeah baby. They seem to be overpriced lately. Maybe I'm behind on the market though

Now if I could find a fretless Fender V maybe that crosses over (is there such a thing?)

What's a man with dual GAS to do?

I'd like to stay around $1500 for my purchases so, that would fall a little short.

In that case you have it narrowed down to what you want, first good deal you see pounce and pray 2 don't come up at the same time!
