Not that it matters but Tony Kanal and Gwen Stefani of No Doubt dated and had a relationship for years. Kanal is currently dating the American actress Erin Lokitz. On September 15, 2010, they announced they were expecting their first child.

I'm a 99% asexual bassist myself (1% hetero)... One of the best bass players I know from my local scene is gay, and she plays some very cool basses too... I know at least one bisexual female bass player personally, and I'm sure many more of the ones I know are either gay or bi, but the topic of their sexuality never came up when I was around.

What I've never seen is a eunuch bass player. Do they really exist? Heehee

Not sure if this is a serious thread or not but Dug Pinnick from Kings X and Brian Cook from These Arms are Snakes and Russian Circles are both gay bass players. Wasn't there a similar thread to this that was serious a couple months ago?

The way you treat the subject is a bit offensive and obnoxious. But to add a little extra to my $0.02, I just want to say: Think about it like this - no matter what hobby, profession, etc., there are gay people doing it. It's common sense and this thread is pointless.

Now, about those Aquarius albino dwarf half Algerian half penguin bassists...I don't think I've ever seen one of those...
