GB Shuttle 9.0 & GB Uber410 for metal??

Hi there!!

I'm planning on get that Genz Benz half stack to play metal a la Firewind, Dragon Force, etc... with my LTD F405 tuned to A-D-G-C-F.
I'm looking for a very articulate amp, with fast response as I have to play sometimes quite fast...

Do you think it will fit my needs?? or is an amp made for other kind of music?

Thank you!

If you go to our site, you can check out Ed Friedland's videos. There is plenty of tube overdrive on tap if you that is what you need. I'll admit that I don't know Firewind and Dragon Force or what their tone is. :o

I just YouTube'd Dragonforce. Yes.....the Shuttle will respond that fast. I can see if that video is typical, it appears you don't need tube overdrive.

FWIW, a year ago, I was in a band that was covering Porcupine Tree. In a "fast" and "busy" mix, I'd stick with the Uber 4x10 over the 2x12.

Yeah, that's it!
I do not use any overdrive, fuzz or distortion, just an EBS Multicomp and a EBS Unichorus, I like my sound to be as clean, articulated and defined as possible.

Thank you!
