I've been registered to this site for a while, I can't remember if i've posted here or not.
I've been playing bass for 2 1/2 years (i'm 17). My first bass was a Yamaha RBX170 (first full song I learnt was Pretty Fly For A White Guy). Now I have a Schector Studio 5.
I use a ULTRABASS BX4500H and a ULTRABASS BA115 to amplify it (looking to upgrade when I get money)
I'm in 2 bands, an originals/covers band that plays Tool, System Of A Down, Rush kind of stuff and a pub cover band with about 40 covers in our repetoire (sp?).
I don't know much theory, I know the key sigs, a bunch of different scales and some modes.
That's the main reason I joined, so I can gain more knowledge.
