Try the local pawn shops and music shops that sell used. There are a TON of pawn shops in the area to scour, I'd try to rule out the instrument shops first, as there are less of those.
Music-go-round was the receiver of a stolen bass not too long ago, so I would try there first. Make sure you have a police report filed with cpd. Also, post this news to the OBC forum thread, so that we can all help to look for the gear. Pictures will help immensely to identify possible instruments.
There are a lot of the pawn shops around, but some are chains, like Levy's Pawn shops... they have about 6 shops in the greater columbus area. Also try Uncle Sam's pawn shop downtown, it's not far from the city center site and hyatt regency. Try german village music haus.
Keep in mind that without a police report filed, you won't have a leg to stand on when it comes to reclaiming the gear, unless there are unique markings that identify it. If you check in with one of the chain pawn shops, see if they can call the other area shops and inquire, to hopefully save time and gas.
Also, keep a close eye on the craigslists for the area, as well as ebay.
