Not fer nuthin', but...

Yesterday I was in Mr Music in Allston and they have an absolutely gorgeous 2009 MIJ sunburst Geddy Lee Jazz. (I have NO affiliation with MM. I've shopped there for years - it's a great local store)

As I was playing it I'm trying to think of I can make the financials work with cash and trade. I can.

Then I remembered I have other really good basses at home and I don't really need another one.

Or do I?

That someone is YOU I have one, can't see ever selling it. If you can afford it, get it.

I'm a Jazz Bass guy and I found the neck uncomfortably anorexic for me. Make sure the neck is straight before buying it as I've heard that they are marginal in the strength department.

You need it. I have an MIA Geddy Lee body. It sounds different than my other two jbs. Definitely more aggressive. But I put the Classic 70s neck on and a black pick guard because I like the tuxedo look.
