Geddy Lee Scale

I just saw Rush in concert and I was wondering what kind of scales Geddy usually uses when he improvs? Basic major or minor scale, a blues scale, pentatonic, a little bit of everything? Sometimes it's pretty easy to pick up on bassists and where they get their grooves from, but, for me, Geddy is another story. Anybody happen to know? Thanks.

I wouldn't say that he improvises much at all, really. He tends to play the same licks he records, with some very minor embellishment that I would not classify as "improvising" in the musical sense, and has for years.
