As posted above, I have a few more things to buy.

I just have a few other priorities than the minor things. I make it all black so I wont be seen on stage.. but being the bassist, thats not too hard!

IMO, put the chrome screws back in the control plate, and rock it with that!

I wasn't aware the Geddy didn't have the route hole. Doesn't the MIA Jazz have the route under the pickguard. (At least the circle one in guam?)

I'm digging the no PGs from this thread. (Maybe it's b/c my Epiphone Power Bass looks very similar except a P PU where the jazz neck PU is... )

The problem with ebay is that the geddys tend to have VERY shotty fret work sometimes. Like they stick out of the side of the neck.

so a $400 geddy with bad frets. get that fixed for $70 and have a kickass bass!

Geddy's are cheap (for some reason): Look on Ebay - - I've seen them as low as $400.

yep.saw one in a local shop not even a year ago going for like $430..

Yep Ive done it before! I liked it but I didnt like having the holes in the body so I put a black pickguard on it. I love that all black look. Very beautiful.

Just ordered a b/w/b PG, black control plate, and black knobs w/ white abolone inlays. It'll look similar to JC's, but with normal control plate screws and different knobs.
