Those are probably the 3 biggest influences on my playing. I mean I've played TONS of material by other bass players, but these guys are the only ones who have actually IMPACTED by composition.

When I'm soloing (or trying ), Bach, Cliff, and Kirk Hammet are probably my influences.

Geezer Butler and Bill ward are examples of how a good rythm section hcan make a band. They are the foundation of sabbath, and without them the band would be nothing.

First Real Rock Concert for me was Ozzfest 01' . I got into music late (or later then my friends), and I was in 8th grade. That was the one year Sabbath came back together to tour. Didn't even know one of their songs going there, the day after the concert went out and bought 2 of their cd's, and a few months later became a bass player. Why? Cause of a long haired man who played his bass with a passion so intense I was immediately taken to him. Geezer was definetly an influence to become a bass player, but he was even more of an influence to play live.

The Last Supper DVD has a lot of good live stuff and it has interviews/the members talking about the band. Bill ward said one of the things he does that makes his drumming unique is not to always keep time. Comebine that with Gezzers awesome unique playing, Tony's great playing and Ozzy's singing...Black Sabbath was the greatest!
