Double Bass Genssler Hybrids

So I know you are like "dude this is the amp sexion man where we wax about our knobs and stuff" Yes, I am chief waxer sometimes, but here is the thing: Since I strung my bass with these Genssler Hybrid strings the amplification dynamic is totally different and insanely better. These strings amplified have a kind of presence and openness and yet a phat fundamental sicker then any string I have ever tried.
They have been out for quite a while now but I have been reluctant to drop so much money on a bespoke set of strings that cant really ideally be swapped out on some other bass so reselling them is dicey if they dont work out. Genssler takes the measurements of your instrument.
But the sound is utterly sick amplified, kind of like gut strings but thin and metal wound with a centered pitch and giant open harmonics that don't cloud the amplified sound but fill it out.
Anybody else having this experience? They are loud as hell too and even all the way up and down and unlike gut they speak so fast that you can very comfortably play really fast and articulately. These new strings just made my amplified sound SO much better. They get that wonderful pained vocal quality that guts do but with the speed and clarity of steel. Genssler is no bull

Less tension always works better for me with piezo pick-ups.

Which strings are these? Tempera? Sonores? The websites aren't showing a Hybrid model.

Hi Eric Yeah these are Tempera Hybrids. And i know it is in the amp section...They sound so much different and better amplified then my old strings (Weichs with oliv G, or Perps or spiro) that I wanted to post here just to see if anyone else notices how phenomenal these are amped. They have a kind of wide openness and yet also a tight center (kinda like part of the sound has a compressor on it) the sound floors me.

I assume you mean the Tempera Hybrid model, right? They are fantastic! But maybe we should change the title here. And it seems to be also in the wrong category, no? theres a "Strings" category...

I just asked Chris to delete this thread...Jan Ole thinks it should be called Tempera Hybrids and people are obviously not reading the OP where I am talking about the sound of the string amped. IF Chris deletes this I'll just add the info to the Genssler page in strings...and Yes Rick I will make a recording
