There aren't any footswitchable functions on this amp. We really wanted to keep this amp as clean and uncluttered as possible.

There could certainly be arguments made for having them. However, when you start with an "idea platform" of "classic tube amp in a reasonable package that is set-it-and-forget-it", you have to be VERY careful of mission creep......you know...addding things that takes away from the essence of what you're trying to do and whom you're trying to reach.

Love the concept, the weight, the wattage, even the name and aesthetics.

This sounds like exactly what I want. I love my Walkabout but I want something similar with much less compressed lows and higher wattage. Definitely can't wait to put one through its paces.

man, just when my GAS was cured. I guess I'm a little old school, still rocking a NeoPak 3.5 with the 2ohm conversion. still plenty loud for anything Ive done. It sounds great...so if it ain't broke don't fix it...right? I love simple amps. Well I love knob twiddling too, but I also like playing, and nothing kills playing time like twiddling knobs IMO. will be on the lookout for this.

Also, if nothing else, a run of "TB" amps would be cool. even if they just had a little "TB" and a bass clef cut into the metal, or a nice little graphic (not a sticker) on there would be worthwhile.

Will the limiter be similar in the Streamliner to the 9.0?

The reason I ask is, I am in love with how tubey my 9.0 sounds by way of the limiter when pushed. I would think with 6 stages of tube on top of that limiter there would be a Tonal Nirvana.

Taking a look at The Perfect Bass, where the street prices are presumably representative, they're generally 20%-25% off of MSRP (with 20 being more common for the newer products). That would translate to roughly $959-$1023.
