Genz Benz - Official Streamliner Amp Thread -NEW !!

I believe this concept is a home run!

Thank you guys for Zagging when everyone else is Zigging.

Will the limiter be similar in the Streamliner to the 9.0?

The reason I ask is, I am in love with how tubey my 9.0 sounds by way of the limiter when pushed. I would think with 6 stages of tube on top of that limiter there would be a Tonal Nirvana. :)

the only thing in common that the Streamliner and Shuttle shares is the power module.

but ... will it have intense, genuine blue LEDs??:D

yes....as retina searing as ever. Not as many though.

With some of our other amps, when I've gigged and had the ligts on, a couple of times airplanes started circling above in a holding pattern.

And when my clip light would come on, some bassist in the audience would come up to me a say: "dude, don't you know that every time your clip light comes on, it hurts your amp or a small animal in the Amazon dies or something?"

So....we've trimmed the lights down.

LMAO!!!

As a licensed pilot, I have found those lights very helpful!

This past spring a choir director friend of mine hired me to accompany on bass for her final concert of the year. I brought my Shuttle 9 and Schroeder cab as my rig.

Going back and watching the video of the show, there was a point where all of the stage lights went dark at the end of a song. When that happened you could still see my outline off to the side, perfectly illuminated in blue by the LEDs on my Genz head.

Could you possibly POST this video?

OT: What is that bass in your Avatar? I was thing G&L ASAT, but that's not right. I'm totally digging the look of that bass. Well, other than the excess knobage that it has going...

KO

Added: Musicman? It's got the right bridge and perhaps an Eddie Van Halen body...
