So I broke down and splurged for a new amp, yes it's a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. I played with it at home for a week and decided to give it a shot last night. I showed it to the guys in my band and they thought it was cool, but I could tell they were a bit worried about the size. I play in a cover band with pa support, so it can get loud. I used my no name 2x10 cab (Carvins I think). I hooked up everything and it rocked! I had to turn down several times. I fiddled with the settings thru out the evening and found a good tone. Then I started using my zoom b2, I still need to work the kinks out with the pedal. I didn't have a problem all night!
I am not a techie type and mess with the knobs until I find a good sound then leave it. I haven't played thru a lot of amps, I stick with what has worked for me (Hartke 3500 for around 15 years). I'm hoping this amp is reliable because I love the size. The tone was good too, altho as long as it's not bad I'm not too picky. Anyway so far so good!
