Thanks. It's the only P bass that I've ever really liked...aside from a friends '59 Fender that, interestingly enough, he bought many years ago in a pawn shop in the town in which I now live. Small world. It's one of the first (maybe the first?) P bass they made. It has a side input jack which I love. The later versions are all the usual top jack placement. There's also a Honey Badger pickup and Hipshot Ultralite tuners. TI Flats. It's a fantastic bass. Been my #1 lately.
Not exactly the same but lately I've been running a MG350 BA-10-2 on top of a RevSound 115. Really a great combination, I have two of the BA-10-2s that also works great but one pairs well with a bigger brother.
115 without the tweeter? I was looking for a cab and ended up with a 10-2. Probably will pair it with a 1x15 of some sort if I really need more low end/volume.
Yes just a 15. Something like 28 lbs and really compact. Amazing cab, I had 4 gigs and did one (bluegrass) with just the 15. But the pair sounded tremendous- mostly P bass and just big, fat low end with clear highs. I know that the BA-15-3 or 12-3 would also pair really well with a 10-2 but I wanted something smaller and lighter (and less expensive).
I'm running a BA 12-3 on top of a neoX 212 loaded with NX2 Faitals and it kills. I just turn the tweeter off on the neoX and let the BA cab works its magic. Have fun with it.
I've used the combo of BA10-2 and BA12-3 together, before downsizing to a pair of BA10-2s and slightly upsizing to a pair of MG12T-Vs, all driven by an MG350. I did try a BA10-2 on top of an MG12T-V also. All these combos worked well for me.
The BA10-2 and BA12-3 work very well together. Others in this thread also use that pairing. Put the BA10-2 on top and line up the mid driver arrays and you get a very nice sound that covers the whole spectrum with no big bumps or holes.

I never posted much about it other than for what I do the combo needed a 12 under it to get the bottom I wanted, and two is just more of the same.
I just recently completed that stack. Both cabs by themselves are fantastic, and while I haven’t been able to really give the whole stack a full tryout yet, it sounds awesome playing it at home. I keep on thinking “oh maybe I should get another 10-2 or 12-3 so I have enough volume for full band gigs with no PA support”. But considering I’ve never even gotten close to pushing these to full volume, I doubt I’d ever need it.
I played a couple of outdoor gigs with that combo and they sound great together.

I (briefly) had a BA12-3 + BA10-2 combination and they paired beautifully together. Ultimately I swapped the 10" cabinet for more of the BA12s, simply because I felt that the 12" cabinets were better suited to my own particular needs and how I like to dial in lows.
I was looking for a cab recently and decided on the 10-2. The size and sound won me over. I was choosing between this and the 112tv, it was very close. Shop threw in the bracket which is pretty cool. Will get it try it at a jam this Saturday. Compared to the elf 2x8 I was borrowing, this sounds way better (elf seems to be a tad louder).
Wait until you try it with the whole band to say if it’s truly louder. One of the results from this speaker design, that I’ve read about and experienced myself, is that the sound carries more and fills a room better. A traditional cab design might sound louder up close and then drop off significantly as you get further/more off axis from the amp, whereas these will sound more similar from up close to further away.
Great cab by the way! I’ve used my 10-2 in a couple pit orchestras and it doesn’t even sweat filling the auditorium without reinforcement.
That’s what I love about my 4X10…fills the stage nicely and I feel like I don’t have to push it as hard to do it. Really shines in a live situation.

I feel the same way about my 410-3 as far as a single cab solution for my Led Zeppelin needs (when outdoors, I do add my 12-3 on top for more heft)
How are you guys dialing in your RE/Qs? I'm a few days into the new setup and loving the EQ/filtering combo, and would love to try any tricks you've already discovered. Bass boost combined with HPF at about 9 o'clock seems to really fatten up the lows!

Here are my settings for the re/Q.
I am basically doing the smiley face EQ curve and taming the lows with the HP filter. Plus, using the EQ output level to keep it at unity gain. (Note: This works with my Lakland pre that is extremely mid focused and lacks some high end sizzle)
