Hey guys, I've done a search on this topic, but I've got some specific things I'm looking for. Any advice/names would be appreciated.
In addition to German bow, I'm looking for someone who:
-emphasizes proper bowing technique and proper playing posture (I stand up)
-someone who's cool with taking a student who isn't primarily a classical player my background is in jazz
-someone who's reasonably affordable. My finances are extremely limited, so the big name-teachers are probably out of my market.
I'm not looking to become an orchestral-level player, but I desperately need to resolve some fundamental technique and sound issues, plus get rid of some bad habits I've picked up in the years since I finished my degree.
Thanks,
Danny
